About me
I have had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. As well as private clients, I also work for a service supporting clients whose mental health is affecting work.
I am a volunteer counsellor at a leading cancer charity, supporting clients as they adjust to their own or a loved one’s cancer journey.
I retrained from a marketing background and it was one of the best decisions I have made. I really value the time I spend working with and learning from each of my clients.
How I work
I work online or on the telephone.
We can have an initial telephone conversation to make sure we can work effectively and safely together.
I am trained in Person Centred Therapy, CBT and Transactional Analysis. However, it is our relationship that will be the most important part of your therapy.
I will not give you advice. I am here for you to speak openly and honestly with. To help you get in touch with your thoughts and feelings, to pause and take stock of your life.
If I think a particular intervention could be helpful for you, I will introduce it and you decide whether you would like to know more. My fee is £80 per session.
Person Centred Therapy
PCT empowers you to find your own solutions, to reconnect with your inner voice and become the author of your own story.
CBT
CBT can be helpful with anxiety, depression and stress.
Transactional Analysis
Transactional analysis can help us understand personality and behaviours, and support healthier communication.
